Commitment

We are committed to implementing sustainability initiatives to minimise waste and we actively participate in recycling programs. Example of our activities include:

Member of the Responsible Cafes Collective

We are a member of the Responsible Cafes Collective. Their mission is to fight the war on waste and win one cup at a time. More information is available at their website: responsiblecafes.org

EPA Bin Trim

We have completed the EPA's Waste Less, Recycle More Bin Trim program and have implemented the recommendations from this review.

Coffee Grounds Recycling

We recycle all of our coffee grounds, with a local worm farmer collecting these from our recycling bins weekly.

Plastic Packaging

We have replaced single use plastic packaging in store through the use of cardboard takeaway containers, paper bags, paper straws and timber cutlery. We are working with our suppliers to source further opportunities to replace other packaging.

Recycling

We separate and recycle all plastic and glass bottles and cardboard to minimise waste going to landfill.
